White with 1 ...... It's all about the cake !!!

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a great weekend.

I finally finished the challenge over at White with 1.  It took me almost the entire week to sit and down and finish it with all the kids after school activities !!!

The challenge was to use White, Yellow and follow a sketch.

Hopefully you can see the sketch in there :)  On my LO I've used Purple Pumpkin tags and tickets, washi tape, WOW chipboard, Studio Calico veneer shapes and Dylusions inks.

These pictures were from Aidan's birthday party last year.  A "Superhero" theme with all the kids coming dressed up.  The cake is made by me :)

Here is what my background looked like before I "prettied" up the page.  I've used plenty of mist, paint, water, ink and texture pastes.

And here's a quick close up of some of the texture in the background

There's still time to also join in our sketch at Purple Pumpkin.  Would love to see more entries before the end of the month.  Great prizes up for grabs.

That's it for today.  Have a great weekend and until next time.....

Jail Break....

I have finally managed to scrap this week :) This LO was using the left over bits I had from the Lil Monster kit at Wicked Princesses.

The photo is of 2 of my boys and my niece and nephew. I've used the Jillibean Monster range of papers and some MVBs.

Plus, a sneek

Have some exciting news to share, but that will have to wait until another day ;)

Whatever you're doing today, have a good one. And thanks for stopping by ;)

A quick share & a win !!!

Haven't had much time for scrapping this week (again), but I have managed to finish this LO for Sketch Inspiration # 206.

This was the sketch

and here's my take on it

A little different to the original sketch, but once I started I just kept on going !!

Alter Ego

I've used part of the My Lil Monster kit from Wicked Princesses, that includes the Jillibean Soup Monster Stew papers, the cutest little monster button and MVB trim. I've also used Echo Park stickers, Scrapware chippie and had my first go at the paper flower. There's also a cute yellow star button from MLBOW

Here are some close ups

Also, I was very excited to find out that I won a $20 voucher to Handmade by Suzanne over at Kraft It Up for January with my Summer Waves LO. Had to do a double take to make sure it was actually me LOL. Thanks to the girls over at KIU for a great challenge, and I can't wait to go shopping.

Whatever you're doing today, hope it's a good one. I'll be back soon with more to share. Thanks for stopping by

Kraft It Up

Well, we're back from holidays, everything is unpacked and we have our new floorboards down. So, I thought it was time that I pulled my finger out and did some scrapping. Lately I haven't had any mojo, and I'm still not sure if I like this LO but it's done.

This month at Kraft It Up you had to create a Summer theme and use a Summer word in your title. Check, and check. Oh, and use Kraft as your base :)

This photo was taken on our recent holiday to Batemans Bay. It was the first time Aidan had been on the boogie board and actually did it by himself.

As I said, not sure if I am happy with it - feels like there is something missing??

We're off for dinner tonight to celebrate Ethan's 12th birthday and my mum's 60th. We're having a beach party for Ethan on Saturday and we couldn't have asked for better weather - 28 and sunny !!! Looking forward to a good day.

Well, must be off and get myself organised. I will try to be back soon with more scrapping. I have so many pictures - not sure how I'll get through them all.

Have a lovely evening, and thanks for stopping by :)
