OUAS....38 years

Happy Saturday everyone!!  Hope you have all had a great week.

Today I'm sharing with you my first time playing along at Once Upon A Sketch.  There are so many talented scrappers that join in, that I feel a little like an imposter to be honest !!!  Anyway, I decided to play along with the challenge which was

Theme: Numbers!!!

This month, we ask you to include a number , ANY number, on your layout. It has to be VISIBLE on your layout and it can be in your title or part of your journalling. It can be a date, an age, a house number, an anniversary, the number of children you have, the number of pets ....anything you like. But please make sure that there is some explanation through your journalling, somewhere on your page or blog about what this number means to you.

And this sketch

And here is my take on the sketch

Turquoise seems to be my choice of color of late !!  I love the Dylusions Ink, so vibrant and happy.

This LO is of my dearest friend who I have grown up with, and our parents still live next door to each other :)  I've used the She's Savvy Kit (now sold out) and I've added one of the gorgeous Purple Pumpkin Tulle Bling Flowers.  I wanted to keep the embellishing simple on this LO - hopefully I've managed to do that !!

Thanks for stopping by.  Please let me know if you visit so I can stop past your blog and say hi.

Until next time, have a great weekend, and happy scrapping

Once Upon A Sketch....

I decided to play along with Once Upon A Sketch this month. I loved the sketch, and the prompt was to journal soemething with "A Perfect Day Is"........

I scrapped about the perfect day we had when the kids met Woody at Disneyland. They were so excited to see him, until Woody stole Aidan's cap, put it on his head and started walking off !! We thought it was hilarious, but poor Aidan didn't. Anyway, here is my LO

It didn't quite turn out how I had it planned in my head, but it's another one done.

I'm off out with the girls tonight to see a band (no idea where or who !!!) but it should be fun, and then tomorrow is the big day - Grandfinal day for Ethan. Fingers are crossed that his team (and the 4 others from our club) come home with a win. Should be a big night tomorrow as well.

Thanks for stopping by. Will be back soon with more to share.

Have a great weekend
xx
